Support Meridian Acres Community Association Today

Our HOA is at an important point, and we are in urgent need of additional homeowners willing to serve on the Board.

The Board is made up of volunteers from our own community who help oversee HOA responsibilities, finances, neighborhood concerns, maintenance needs, and other decisions that affect all of us. Right now, we do not have enough participation to comfortably continue managing these responsibilities with a volunteer Board.

If we are unable to find additional homeowners willing to serve, we may eventually have to consider hiring a professional property management company to handle many of the responsibilities currently performed by Board volunteers.

While a management company could provide those services, it would also come at a significant cost. Those expenses would ultimately be paid by homeowners and could mean higher annual HOA dues, additional administrative or management fees, and potentially other costs associated with professionally managing the Association.

Our preference is to avoid that.

Keeping the HOA managed by members of our own community gives homeowners greater control over how our money is spent and how decisions affecting the neighborhood are made. It also helps us avoid paying an outside company for work that we have historically been able to manage ourselves.

We need homeowners who are willing to step forward. You do not need HOA experience, legal knowledge, or a background in property management. We simply need people willing to participate, share ideas, help make decisions, and contribute some time toward keeping our community running successfully.

Our HOA belongs to all of us, and keeping it strong—and keeping costs under our control—requires participation from the community.
